This year, when did you feel the most integrated with your body? Did you have a moment where there wasn’t mind and body, but simply a cohesive YOU, alive and present?
The only time I can think of where my mind and body were one was in January, when my mom convinced me to run in a 5K with her. It suuuuucked for the first mile or so, especially because I hadn’t trained at all and I was certainly not used to waking up that early to DO something, but after that I found my pace and it was much easier to keep running than to start walking. After long I felt that it didn’t even take any effort to run. And I finished a few minutes behind my mom with a time of one hour and twelve minutes. So thanks Mom!
